Horses for Humanity Horse
Show Announces a One Year
Hiatus
Our show will not be
held in 2004, but will resume in 2005
We are saddened to
announce that due to a scheduling conflict, we will not be able to hold our show
in 2004, but intend to continue our tradition in 2005. Our show is a
favorite among exhibitors in the area, and we enjoy hosting the show for you
each year. We hope that our hiatus will not quell your enthusiasm for our
venue and that you will plan to attend our show next year.
If you have a memorial
trophy, please keep the trophy throughout this show year, but remember that it
will need to be returned for the 2005 show.
We do intend to
continue with fundraising efforts throughout 2004 and ask you to help in any way
that you can with that effort. One of the more popular fundraisers is our
auction program. Anyone can donate practically anything to our show and we
will sell it on ebay with the funds going to continue the multitude of 'extras'
that have become such a large part of the show festivities.
We hold youth
contests, art contests, judging contests, costume and barn pet classes, tack
room awards and the living legend award all at no cost to the
participants. We pay for our volunteers food and beverages at the
show and provide them with logo T-shirts as a small thank you for their kind
service. We make sure that each participant in classes for Lead Line kids
and all 10 & Under classes are provided with a ribbon and gift in each of
their classes, again, at no cost to the participants. We provide trophies
in every class at the show in addition to ribbons.
We want to continue
to hold our show and to bring the kind of extra fun that you have come to expect
at our show. If you can find a way to make a cash donation, sponsor a
contest, or donate to the auction fundraiser, it would be greatly appreciated by
all.
Our exhibitor's
party is also greatly underwritten by the show and we wish to continue that
effort. Each year it becomes more and more costly to put on the show and
this is a way to keep all of our programs and fun!
If you are
interested in donating to the auction, please email us at horsesforhumanity@comcast.net
and let us know that you wish to participate!
If you would be interested in helping with, or hosting a fundraising event,
we would be thrilled to have such an undertaking for 2004 in lieu of the actual
horse show!
Thank you for all
of your time and attention. If you have any questions, please email us and we
will do our best to answer them!
Sincerely,
Miichelle
Butler
